After 46 you should

Always write down your user name with your passwords LOL, and maybe not have soooo many different ones you use.

Sorry I haven't posted, been working on some manuals for our Boy Scout Troop. I love the fact that the boys are working on getting their Eagle Scout, Mackenzie made Star two weeks ago, and Jacob isn't that far from having his 2nd class.

Wow how long does it take to get a background check on someone who has no background? That is all I'm waiting on to start my new job. It has been over a week, so hopefully I will get a call today to start tomorrow. Looks like I'm going to be working my first weekend, which I really don't mind, having lost my mother on March 15th, I'm really not planning anything special this year.

Yooohooo I'm employeed :o)

I start working at Lowes in the next few days. They have to wait on my background check and drug screen, but I know I passed both, I don't do drugs and I have never been arrested. I'm really looking forward to working again. It is going to be a huge change after being a Healthcare worker for 20 years, but after losing Mom last month, I feel it is time for a change.

Did you do anything special for Earth Day???? I did :oP We bought 3 Bradford Pear trees, and just hope it quits raining long enough to get them in the ground before Arbor Day. I'm thinking I'm going to be getting my deck built for Mother's Day/Birthday. We've been in the house for two years now, I think it is time LOL. After the deck goes up, we can do the remainder of our landscaping.

We hopefully the things I've been working on will come together today. I've got 3 parties coming up, and haven't gotten any of it planned yet :oO

Have a great, creative day!

Wish me luck!

Wish me luck, I have an interview today. I have never had such a tuff time finding a job in my life. I was laid off in January, and although we could get by without me working, there is just more month at the end of the money than I'm comfortable with. It is part-time, so at least I won't have to give up too much of my craft time.

Don't you just hate
when a plan doesn't come together??? I worked all day yesterday on a really cool new project. But once I was done, I didn't like it :o( I have the concept, but I'm going to put it on the back burner for a couple of days as I have some things I have to get done.

Dustin Pike released some really cool new digital stamps yesterday! I had to have all the sets LOL. I know what I'm going to do with the Dino set.....well I'm pretty sure, I'm making a diaper cake in June.

Well time to fire up the Cricut:o) Hope you have a creative day!

My youngest will be 12

How did this happen. It seems like yesterday he was in diapers. His Birthday isn't until Friday, but we decided to have it yesterday so his grandpa and great-aunt could come over for the day. It is just easier for them to get away on the weekends.

Jacob has always loved the Pirates of the Carribbean movies, so when I saw Dustin Pikes new digial stamps, I knew what I had to do LOL. I'm a huge fan of Dustin Pike you really should check his blog. I'll add his link to the side bar.

Here is his candy bouquet. He loved it and plans on using the ship in his room after the candy is all gone, and let me tell you, it is going fast hehe.

I just wish my line work was near as good as Dustins.

Once it was completed, and I realized I had time, I had to make him a banner. Sorry the detail isn't that great, the picture is too small, but you get the idea. It will remain up for the week as we are going to do a little something for him over the weekend.

The cake is a Diet Dr. Pepper cake. We are trying to make more healthy choices. If you have never made one, they are very yummy and you don't miss the suger. Read below for the recipe. I got it from the WW message board, so I hope the creator dosen't mind. I left it in the dish because they are slightly less stable than a regular cake.

Cake Recipe:

Low Suger Cake Mix- I use Pillsbury choclate

12 oz Diet Dr. Pepper or your fav. diet soda

2-3 eggs depending on size.

Low Sugar Frosting in tub. Pillsbury again.

Mix together and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. You may need to adjust the time to your oven, but to test for doneness, the top should be bouncy.

If you use a white cake mix, you can change the flavor by changing the soda. I have made one using diet orange soda and one using diet Sprite. For a lower calorie frosting, use cool whip with your favorite dry jello mixed in.

Hugs, Have a great day!
